The Southern Arizona Solar Standards Board is a nonprofit board of solar energy installation businesses in southern Arizona. SASSB directs its efforts at promoting best practices in the solar electric/hot water industry and carrying out consumer education and protection.

The Southern Arizona Solar Standards Board is a program of Pima Association of Governments. PAG is a nonprofit metropolitan planning organization with Transportation Planning, Environmental Planning, Energy Planning and Technical Services divisions. SASSB is managed under the Energy Planning Program at PAG.

In each of these areas, PAG coordinates with all local jurisdictions in Pima County, and with the Pascua Yaqui Tribe and Tohono O'odham Nation. PAG's nine-member Regional Council has reprentatives from local, state and tribal governments.
